I became confused when I heard the word 'service' used with these agencies:
Banking 'Service' Postal 'Service' Telephone 'Service' Pay TV 'Service' Civil 'Service' City, State & Public 'Service' Customer 'Service' Bureaucratic 'Service' This is not what I thought 'Service' meant.
But today, I overheard two farmers talking, and one of them said he had hired a bull to 'Service' his cows.
BAM!!! It all came into focus. Now I understand what all those agencies are doing to us!
I have heard through through the grapevine that Australia Post is looking at reducing mail delivery to maybe a couple of days a week or forcing you to visit a mail centre to pick up your own mail.
I also heard that they have foreign based consultants employed at a huge cost to tell them that, but that's only hearsay.
What has happened to the Mail "Service" paid for by the taxes of the man in the street. Sold out to the highest bidder and the proceeds go offshore?

I think the consultants must have been Canadians as that's what's happening there. No more mail services, you have to go and get your mail. So I hope they don't cut off the power if we're away and haven't picked up the bill!
Yes, I hear it was going to be cut back to 3 days a week.
