transmission problem

Hello everyone havent posted any messages for quite a long time.I with the help of many people have been renovating 11 meter 1980 bg 100 with a hino 6 cylinder diesel motor bus.All but completed after nearly 4 years ,my hold up is that i have a 6 speed crash box which i am desperate to be rid of and replace with a syncro box but am finding it difficult to obtain one .The motor is mid mount .If anyone out there can assist me with this dilemma it would be great.I live in Tassie. regards keith

Your could also look at fitting another gearbox, like a small road ranger, or allison auto. Lots around and pretty cheap, don't know of any in Tas, earlier last year up at Exeter there was a hino engine and gearbox for sale, they had 4 or 5 school buses and heaps of Hino parts.

Keith if you quote the engine model they should be able to tell you what g/boxes suit/fit.
