Crows at work

We have had 2 BIG crows outside our offices. Plenty of tubs of water for them, which they drink then they sit and look through the glass door.  Has been a great source of concern and entertainment.  Everyone makes sure there is plenty of water for them and asks throughout the day "Are the crows still there and ok?".

Magnificent birds, and extremely intelligent. I grew up hating them for what they do to baby lambs, but a few years ago an injured crow stayed around our garden for a couple of weeks. I fed him and he allowed me to get quite close, so I could see his beautiful shiny black feathers and that big scary beak. Other birds tried to attack him while he couldn't fly and I'd rush out and defend him, much to the neighbors amusement. Eventually he could climb a tree from which to launch himself and later could fly again.
I'm surprised how much respect I had for that bird after the way I'd hated all crows.

Onya Barina for providing water during this hot weather.
