After Milo asked for eBooks for his iPad

I had to look further than the use of my Android tablet

I've got a Android tablet that takes nearly 4 hrs to recharge

than I tried the Aldiko app on my Android phone

low and behold it works like a dream , and only less than hr to recharge

so far been using it for more than 5 hrs for reading eBooks

so it looks like i wont be using my tablet as an eBook reader

 

Just give it a try you would be suprised

It comes down to how small a screen you can put up with when reading.
I was going to get a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 for the larger screen (I have a 5.5" Galaxy Note 2 phone) but the charging time is horrendous compared to a phone as you have noted.
I'll probably get the Galaxy 8.0. Good screen size, can make phone calls and good charge times. A great compromise I think.
