We spent last night in Gurley (now most will say 'never heard of it').  It is a Very small place north of Narrabri & south of Moree in NSW.  We were just parked up next to the service station when a local pulled over in his car & said if we needed a good spot to spend the night just go down the next road & park up next to the fire brigade.  There is even shade if you want it.  Now that's RV friendly.   Cheers
