Deepwater - New England Highway

Hi All,

Thought I'd posted this but apparently it didn't take.

Have just returned from a quick trip to Sydney. On the way down and back I stoped at Deepwater Inn free camp ground at Deepwater, midway between Glen Innes and Tenterfield. Great free camp with free hot showers, toilets etc. Very pet friendly with room for your dog to run around as long as it is under control and on leash when around others obviously.

New owners took over in June and are very obliging. Just let them know you are there and wish to set up camp. Original pub burned down some years ago and owners are about to commence rebuilding this year. Bar currently in shed out the back but very homey and welcoming.

Have a beer and you may even get to hear one of the locals who brings his guitar and does impromptu shows from time to time.

The locals are very friendly and welcoming.

Cheers,

Jack

You did JacMac, put it in Get togethers my mistake. I knew I had read it before so went searching. Thanks for putting it up again, a great spot to keep in mind.
Good to see you back on here, you haven't been on for a while.
I actually asked at Happy Hour at Greens if anybody had heard from you lately.
