Free/Budget Campsites QLD

We are staying in Marburg Showgrounds 30klms Nth Ipswich.$15 night 2month stay available. Quiet and clean and you get to see the trotters training and have a chat to the owners which is really interesting blankstaref
Ipswich Showgrounds is also great and in town at $20 a night. Only problem is one week only stay and out for a night to come back in.
Looking for something on the way closer to Brisbane. Anyone know of any showgrounds or camps heading Brisbane to Ipswich please?
Busy around the dam areas with school holidays on.
Just needing a gap time until the 16th January.

Hope these places help some newbies who are unaware.

Yes, Marburg showgrounds is a nice spot.
Ask them about the Ulysses motorcycle club doing laps of the oval at show time.
We've done that 3 years. Great fun on the trike. You can get a bit " enthusiastic"
on the dirt & not come a cropper. I digress.
Sorry, can't think of any place close to Bris.
Only a guess - South side of Bris is the Mt.Gravatt showgrounds. Maybe.
Cannon Hill ( East side of Bris ) has 2 caravan parks. Monte Carlo & Nestle Inn.
May be worth a call or 2.
Hope you have a "win".
