We have a Winegard Ariel with a 12v booster with cigarette plug on the inside of our Avan Owen, we do not use this ariel as we have an Alden fully Automatic system and this works just great, but my problem is that I have a 12v TV and a Vast 12v box and I hooked it up to the the 12v cigarette socket on the Wingard ariel, all was going extremely well until I flick on the LED interior lights and the bloody winegard socket went off, no telly or vast, I could not locate a fuse for this winegard box and was wondering if the actual winegard booster does not have a fuse and has just blown up, is this possible?/??
We had problems with our Wineguard aerial, it just stopped working one day. After about a week using our satellite dish, we found that there is an on/off switch/light on the cig lighter/access point for the aerial lead. As for there being a fuse, there should be. Check in the front locker for a fuse box, there could be about 5 - 10 fuses in the area. As for the LED. It is appearing a lot that 12v LED are causing problems with aerials. Ours (not a hahahahaha) works fine and doesn't interfere at all but that may be because just about all our 12 volt circuits are separate. Just a couple of thoughts.
