Grey Nomads leap to assist

Setting up camp near Darrell was this Sunbird caravan and there was a big bang. The top was being raised when it collapsed and all looked forlorn for this family just out for the weekend.

But several of us having a mythical happy hour leaped to their assistance and as you can see our youngest member Richard (jetski155) became quite athletic climbing the tree and fixing a block and tackle. Then inside the van Darrell (old boar) got to work fixing the mysterious workings and then teck screwing it all together. Kevin (kim and Kev) offered lots of valuable advice but from a distance and even Billeee our grand poobah rose to the occasion. I employed my considerable photographic skills to record the event.

The story unfolded that the mother had just had a marriage break up and was taking her family down to the lake for a weekend away, Richard had noticed the attractive young ladies and was the first to leap into action, closely followed by me with camera in hand......................John

The mother must have been an ex French backpacker then John for you to be in the mix so quick. Getting a bit slow though, letting Richard beat you to the maiden in distress . smile

Job well done by all that helped though resulting in one happy family. A good story to end the day. More than likely another family at the GN happy hour.

Oh! I noticed your post was posted at 3.40am, hope you weren't being kept awake by the maiden in distress  winksmile

Yeh I know, what happens at Greens stays at Greens blankstare

What a wonderful feel-good story! Congratulations to all you good Samaritans for putting the 'happy' into a stranger's Christmas.

Grey Nomads would never disappoint a lady.

A handy tip for difficult erections and jolly good show to the ladies for lending a helping hand.

Happy New Year to the Greens contingent.
