Diesel and Gas


Im interested in anyone running diesel and gas. Could you give me the rundown on it please, only if you are actually using it in your tug or motorhome. Thanks

yes, about 1/2 a gear in power increase, cleaner burn which means less carbon deposit in your oil. extended km distance. do a search as I have more compressive answer

Just be aware we use slightly different LPG to U.S.. TMK there's is mainly propane while ours is a mix of butane and propane..

Some time back I was talking to a B double driver, I noticed his truck had just re-fuelled with both LPG and diesel..

I asked him how it goes with LPG ? Said it saves him $2000 [a month ?] on fuel..

On his rig it only operates on cruise or light engine load / boost..
It has thermocouple to measure exhaust temp also..

Yes and no
Some sell pure propane and some of it is mixed
In the end it really doesn't make much difference
