In the Macleay/Clybucca area is to see a new combined rest area with BBQ etc at the Hwy1 & Stuarts Point interchange, according to the plans.
The new section will bypass the Clybucca servo/roadhouse/truck stop which is very popular with the truckers & vanners. The continuation to the Macksville bypass will miss the riverside rest stop there as well so maybe this will replace both. Time will tell.
