We went to this years Lockyer Ulysses Christmas Toy Run on last Sunday.

A great turnout with about 800 riders, including the Qld.Police commissioner.

I don't have figures for the dollars & presents to charity as yet.

Last year with 740 riders $18,000 went to the Salvation army

and $4,500 went to UCARF ( Ulysses Club Arthritis Foundation )

Plus a truck load of gifts to the Salvos.

I would expect similar figures this year & I know a 4 tonne

pantec truck was filled to bursting with gifts.

Considering all the "bikie"hysteria of late

there was an excellent turnout. The police were very helpful

and the media positive ( If only very brief news items ).

I'm sorry to say that I have removed my Toy Run videos from YouTube.
I have received several threats from an element damning Ulyssians for holding a toy run.
Because we followed the rules and had police ride with us some have classed us a
"Dogs". More madness generated by the anti-bikie hysteria.

Pretty sad really. I'd read/heard about the run before it happened but saw nothing on TV/local paper afterwards. There sure are some idiots around.
Anyway, good on you for being part of the run.
