Rain at Greens ??????????

Hope all at Greens are safe and sound and not washed away into the lake.

The weather map didn't look very kind to you all there all day. Not good here in Sth West Gippsland Vic either.

Ken is surrounded by a moat!!! A guy nearly jacknifed his van on the slippery road in front of us. Cleared now - lovely looking sunset over the back lake!

Heavy rain all day for me to in Echuca and then in Shepparton. Ran into Darrell and Sandra at the shopping centre. They told me about the mud and bogging out there. Think I will stay away till it dries out. Busy looking for a new house battery tomorrow.

I'm in Echuca at the moment Juergan. I see they have a shop in Bendigo. Thanks for that.

Edit. Sorry I didn't tell you what I want. At least 120v. Deep Cycle, AGM, sealed. I bought a Century for the old van Myrtle, wish I had been able to get it out before she sold. It was a good battery and fairly new.

Have decided the BT50 should be reclassified as a Ford recovery vehicle. First exercise was Chris & Leslie's F250 (2WD) with van in tow after losing traction & jacknifing on the greasy track. Hooked up & tugged the combination onto better ground. So much for yesterday. Very, very disappointed that we didn't get pics. Could have made lots of mileage with them. This morning Ken's Ranger (in all fairness, 2WD as well) had no chance of hauling his outfit from his private pool, so BT50 to the rescue.

Darrell & Sandra

Still mucky down by the lakeside - but the rest is drying out a bit, though we have had a couple of skirmishes come through this afternoon - the wind is drying it out - beautiful sunset tonight over the back lake - so maybe a good day tomorrow!!!
