The gap is closed indefinately - rock-fall

Saw it on tonight's news. It looked as big as Ayers Rock. Still Ayers Rock to me.

Cunningham Highway, Tregony - Hazard: Debris or vegetation Both Directions - Cunningham's Gap batter stabilisation work - removal of rock and loose debris - expect delays Monday to Friday.
Lane or lanes reduced. Extreme delays expected. Use alternative route.

Closed for a least 24 hours. A large boulder is covering the width of both lanes.

Motorists should expect an extended closure period on the Cunningham Gap to safely remove rock from the embankment.

In the floods in Qld a couple of years ago, they had 19 different slides on Cunninghams Gap in one day!!!! This boulder looks like a baby compared to one that came down then.
