I reckon your place John would be a goody but you need to do something about that neighbour though. Your lovely cat is nice and would be a good welcome party.

If you do not have it... get the camp 7 book. The bible for bush camping. Top shelf book around $90, but you will get your $$$$ back after 3 camps.
After my golf clubs, the book is the next must to go on the trip....Ooooops!!!! Nearly forgot the Misses.
Yep!!! Camp 7 is the way to go. Just google it.

Unlike the majority on this site, I would not rate Greens Lake anywhere near the top 10.
I guess its horses for courses though.

How you rate camping spots depends on your personal preferences, and I prefer no ski boats, jet skis etc. While I like a water view, flat featureless shore line doesn't do it for me either.

The Camps book, at $90 and the need for an update every couple of years, isn't as attractive these days, as Wiki Camps app for iPad is fast emerging as prefered, given its ability to accept user reviews, photos and "new" listings.

My top (in no special order)
1. Belmont Pines NSW - CP but surrounded by Lake Macquarie on 3 sides, and sunsets to die for.
2. Jugiong Riverside Park NSW- big, right on the river, walk to the bakery, pub etc.
3. Poley's Place near Gloucester NSW- right near the Barrington Tops
4. Anywhere near Deniliquin
5. Anywhere on the Murray River
