Weekend at Greens

Beautiful day today - blue sky and sunshine - no wind!!!!!  Lots of locals out, either for the weekend, or just the day - boats (some very fast ones) out on the water - skiers, fishermen etc.

There are several signs, including one at the entry gate, stating no mini bikes, motorbikes or quad bikes permitted in the reserve - has been pretty good, but this morning a guy turned up with his quad bike on a trailer, got it off, tore up the track through the campground, making lots of dust, did a donut right near some campers with children.  Was pulled up and told the rules, and that the police could confiscate these vehicles if caught.  But wouldn't you think common sense and consideration would tell some people, to be aware of other people, there are children, older people and dogs all over the campground - there would be a great stink if someone got injured, could even cause the place to be closed - then we all lose out!
