Well here we are at Melbourne airport, bags all checked in and just had a BIG bacon and egg brekky.
The caravan and cruiser are both tucked up with friends, and pray that the fire season that is predicted will not be too severe.
A BIG THANK YOU to all our nomad friends we have met on the forum and also in person while we've been over here. We have made many personal friendships that I'm sure will last a lifetime. Thanks to those who made the effort to bid us farewell in person over the last week or so.
It would appear there will be quite a few of us all visiting WA next year, so if you want a taste of camp oven casserole, date scones! pikelets, trifle (with heaps of sherry), and of course Lorraine's famous pav you had better think about making plans to head over that way as well.
Look out Wombat. You'd better behave yourself cos we are all on our way! Will let you know the exact dates we need the "apartment"
Jim, I'm taking my favourite fishing rods home with me so I can teach you how to catch some really big fish, the pressure is on!
It's been a pleasure meeting both you and Lorraine a few times now and phone chats as well. I hope you both have a safe journey home and you enjoy every moment with your family and friends in NZ.
I'm not sure of my plans for next year at this stage, actually I'm not sure of what I will even do tomorrow .
Have a great Xmas and catch you at some stage on the flip side my friends.

I hope your flight is without incident and you all arrive safely. We have never met but it has been a pleasure reading your posts on the forum and like many others felt for you with your tug problems. That is the great thing about people on this forum, you don't have to meet to enjoy the posts people put up and learn from them.
We hope to head off from SE Qld south down the coast and around the southern states to WA, hopefully by next year.
Hi guys, you have touched the heart a souls of many, us included. As I said defore your friendship',kind ness a genoristy is unique. We have travelled, camped a shared many of those goodies that we often talk about. Your stay with us at home for a couple of weeks was most enjoyable.Travel safe a may god be with you.
Until we meet again in Feb,
Cheers a love from friends forever.
PS, favorite rod a home ground, unfair advantage.LOL.
Jim Leonie.

Have a great visit back home folks, and with any luck I might catch up with you before you come back. I might be in Hamilton for a few days early next year.
Look forward to catching up again somewhere. I head back to Perth on Tuesday. Will be in Otorohanga until then. So enjoyed our times together - thank you:)
