Daft question no: 347......How do we know when the potable water tank is full on our Jabiru? The manual only refers to using 'medium flow' from the hose into the tank. We can tell from the panel internally whether the tank is full, but how do you tell from outside the vehicle? Does the water flow back out of the filler cap? It's a 125 Litre tank on these and would take a little while to fill I know but is there a fool proof way of telling? (For us fools!)
I don't know if this helps, mine had no measurement guide so I fill until I hear the 'change' in the flow (like filling a bottle). Occasionally there is some flow back which causes no problems (apart from wet clothes). I have contemplated putting a ping pong ball in the tank so that it pops up when full. However, my filler is on an angle that doesn't allow me to see down into the filler neck.
Cheers Keith, love the ping pong ball idea! Filled it up this morning and did listen for the change in sound and it seemed to work. On another MH we had, there was also an air pipe and you knew when the water tank was full as the air pipe used to let water out.

I do not know your water tank, so you may not be able to do this install. I helped a friend install and "air pipe/water overflow" in the top of the vertical side of his tank, when the tank was full, water flowed out of this pipe. This overflow pipe also speeded up the filling of his tank. We put a plastic 'in line' tap to turn off the overflow pipe to stop water coming out of his tank when driving along the road when he turned a corner.
Of course when filling the tank you had to open the overflow pipe tap to allow air/water to come out.
I just keep filling the tank until it overflows. I have a male click on fitting on the end of a short piece of hose. I click the fitting into the end of the water hose and the free end gets pushed into the filler pipe. If you are not stupid you stand to one side so you don't cop the back flow when the tank overflows. When I get the overflow I just kink the hose to cut the water flow.
