Thanks guys, Yes as I said,, it's what i wanted as we were up Nth in July and August at Karumba in the Gulf and then across to Wonga Beach Nth of Mossman. Driving on the hard sand with the boat trailer was a breeze as the lazy axle handle the hard sand easily.
If you guys are interested I will send through photos of my Tinny set up on the trailer. thanks for the reply's Mick

I've had our L/C over 13yrs and after I done all the figures and sums I deceiced 18 months ago to convert the truck into a lazy axle. Now just over a year ago I pick up our 100 series after it conversion to having a lazy axle fitted in Brendale / Brisbane. Since then I've done heaps of mods to the rig and it's all work out well and the most important thing about the rig, is it user friendly and not off loaded or compiled junk everywhere.
Mick, that is one serious conversion and I love it, a mobile workshop on wheels. You have put a lot of thought into it and certainly have a spot for everything and everything is in its spot. I tried to keep everything together but, after time on the road it tends to get a bit messy. I like the draws and hooks for your tools I have room in the front boot of my van for something like that so off to Bunnings tomorrow. Thanks Mate.
That is just what I aspire to, but haven,t got there, yet. Love the workshop, And the loader for the motor is great.Could you post some pics of loading and unloading the tinny and trailer? Beaut rig, Mate. Bill

Thanks Bryan,
Yes, we traveled around Oz for 15 months about 2yrs ago as i looked at heaps of set-up's Bryan. I came back completely confused, so I went about thinking just what I wanted and where, as you can see the set up is user friendly and the small boxes on each side of the rig are great, fishing rods 8 in all hanging from inside the roof is magnificent and the moblie crane is re-moveable and can be ex-tracted from the trucks workshop.
Bryan i hope these photos are of a help to many guys.
cheers
Mick
Hi Jim,
Not really Jim, if the weather changes then we make a decision, as when we leave the van we always put the Dish down,,,,, There are a couple plastic screws on the hinges of the Satellite and if these break then it's time to replace these parts as they do tell you that your hinges brackets have move.d
Hope this helps Jim.
Cheers
Mick
Hi Bill, Yes, the satellite rotates 360 deg and can rotate at 4 different angles before it tunes into the satellite, We are using foxtel and also a 12 volt Vast system through the same Satellite Hope this all helps. The stand a loan satellites dish are easy to set up for some,,,,,, and,,,,,,, bloody hard for others Bill as there is a big different in price between the stand a loan and the fixed satellite dish to the roof of your Rv's as well Bill.
