Life after 'Archie'..........

Well, as some of you may know, we only recently starting being 'Grey Nomads' (can you 'start' being a grey nomad???), with one month under our belts and counting and 'She who must be obeyed' says...."We need something smaller so I can drive it also".....no

Hence, 'Archie' (seen in our Avatar), is no longer with us and two days ago, we traded him in for a 2000 Trakka Jabiru based on the Merecedes Sprinter - One owner, service history and only 65,000km on the clock (new photos and Avatar to follow!). Do any of you have one of these? Any experiences, tips etc?

Cheers!

Paul & Val

Might sound a silly thing but my mates Sprinter is always breaking the connection for the water supply for the windscreen washer attached to the drivers windscreen wiper. It goes through the bodywork near the spindle. He always keeps a couple of spares in the glovebox. Easy enough to pry out and replace the broken one. Nothing worse than no water/windscreen wash to clean the windscreen.

Here's a picture of 'Jabba the Jabiru' at Lake Moogerah at The Scenic Rim. Pretty standard vehicle but has everything including a brand new 150W Solar panel and drives like a dream if a little under-powered (2.3 Turbo Diesel).

Sad to hear about the old girl. I thought it was kinda cute. But the new one looks good too. And if it keeps the missus happy, that's a bonus.

Hi there, unfortunately it's not the 4WD version (they're super sexy!) but she has everything on board including solar and separate bathroom with vanity etc. We love her already!
