When my friend, who is two months my junior, turned 40 years of age, I sent him a card like this one:

Are there "tasteless and insensitive" cards for young people? I can't remember ever having received one. Maybe it has something to do with being unable to laugh at ourselves until we get older.

When I turned 40, my sister sent me 40 birthday cards, over a two week period.
