Fantastic news, Marj! I know you're going to have some wonderful trips in Zena. If you really want a shower then you could consider a 12v one and one of those solar heating bag thingies for the water. I hope we can meet up on the road somewhere. Right now I'm in Wollongong (well, Corrimal actually but no-one knows where that is) then early Dec I'll be heading for Canberra to do my Nana duty for the year.
Oooops, didn't see the "Zena" bit in Marj's original post Lynda, Oh well out with the spare eyes.

Hi Marg
Very nice, you wont know yourself.
Don't forget all the little tricks you learnt with the old one, thinks like regular services, regular checks of oil and water and othe fluids, only takes a couple of minutes each day and even with new veicles it can save heart ache
Enjoy your new found freedom
cheers

When we got home last week, the daughter had a bad cold, so guess what I am coughing like a trooper, the chest hurts and feeling crap, so I will do the right thing by you all and keep away till I'm better
Hope Barina likes the sticker

Well done Marj, looks very nice and you won't know yourself in Zena! I am very pleased for you.
Sheba suggested to me when I bought my high top to put a couple of dymo tape labels with the height of the van on it (make allowances for solar panels etc, I balanced a broom handle on top of mine and measured the distance to the ground from the highest point. I stuck one near the instrument panel and one on the sun visor.
(The Toyota website will give you the height and dimensions for the van in general without anything on the roof)
You have to be very careful where you park the van (carports, overhanging eaves, drive throughs, overhanging or leaning trees in free camps, trees and leaning lampoles/signs etc. A bit higher than yours the pic but it gives the general idea;
Hallo Happy Wanderer
I do like the look of your new house on wheels!
I actually rather miss my old hi top Hi Ace and when it comes to trading I tink I could be persuaded to go back to something like 'wot you got'!
I too am looking forward to seeing inside pics.....would 2 Whippets fit in along with the driver?!!
Enjoy life "out there"!
Annie

Thank you Duh, you have done a great job. Michael just said I should have thought of that.
The only difference is the bathroom has now got a privacy surround which these people have recently installed. Now it has a shelf that runs along from the bench with a curtain hanging down. It's lifted up against the wall to use the bathroom.
I call it my Ikea bathroom. Can't put a shower in there Lynda and others who asked. Will get an outside one installed later.
The van has sliding doors both sides, the drivers side is where the bathroom sits inside so Michael says a shower could be added to the outside. Just need to open that sliding door to get to it.
How did you get those photos Duh. I went on to their website to download them to my computer, no sign of them. Have downloaded yours instead but they are quite small.
I thought I might be able to enlarge their ones better.
Oh how wonderful, you must be absolutely thrilled Marj. Welcome Zena to our happy band of travelers. I look forward to meeting her on the way to Frances in Feb if your at Greens then. Well found, how long did it take?
Tess
