A big thank you to Doug who did an incredible job of house sitting while we took the van for its shake down cruise. and what a legend he is...a wonderful roast dinner awaited us when we got home! We have heard about all the great GN meet ups that took place while we were away, there is a rumour going around town that the Batemans Bay club is likely to suffer financially now that Doug has left town,

Also if you get Scantily Clad girls, knocking on your door late at night, saying they are from the ''Gentle Fingers'' Parlour, ?? Please advise them that Dougwe has Moved on and there WILL NOT be any more of those ''shananigans'' going on at that address,
Also the local ''Jim's Mowing man might turn up for payment, [ I suppose Dougwe told you that HE mowed the Lawns ??
But on a serious note !! I am not surprised by the attentive, reliable, and trustworthy, Nature of Doug's housesitting duties, That man is a Thorough Gentleman
Glad you got away guys - and that you had such a capable house sitter!!!! Though his social activity was hectic, I am sure he did all that was required of him around the place!!!!

Sorry for a slight delay in getting back to you Di and Ray (and others) but while on the perch I must have had a poppy nap that obviously turned into a BIG poppy nap.
You are more than welcome Di and Ray, it was a pleasure to baby sit your home for you while out in the playground playing with your new toy and what a toy it is too. I got the guided tour as soon as they pulled up out the front.
Now I thought I'd be smart and leave my tug out front on the nature strip so Ray could back the tug in place but no, no way, he wanted the nature strip didn't he. Not only that he decided as mentioned by Di that 1 big spud wasn't enough for a Pisces man so yours truly had to crowd the pan with heaps of spuds. Phew! You just can't please some people.
As for my, I thought mate, Dazren, well only you Di and Ray will find out if what he has said is true. Oh! Say hi to "Cuddles" for me please Ray if she does turn up. Ray she is a nice lady and I tell you that for free. Me, well I know what took place.
