Gordon Park Caravan Park, Charlton, Victoria

A really nice cosy park located across the bridge at Charlton. A good stop-over on the way to Mildura. The caretaker, Lynn, is very friendly and helpful. Excellent camp kitchen with a fireplace for the colder evenings. Good clean amenities block and a laundry as well. Across the bridge is the Ensuite caravan park which has a dump point. For CMCA members, the price is $13 per night for a powered site and $15 for non members. Plenty of good grassy sites to choose from.

Happy travels, Marnie

We were pleasantly surprised with the Free Camp Travellers Park in Charlton, Vic. The caravan park is great value for money but the council Ensuite Park is $25.00 plus $10 refundable key fee. We are self-contained so stayed in the Free Camp Site adjacent. Wonderful except for the train which went past about midnight, tooted loudly, and the decided to do some shunting excercises. There is even a herb garden planted for use by travellers. A nice town and a good stop-over.

Happy camping.
