I often wonder ....

whether people actually read other threads or posts before adding their tidbit of news.

Gday...

Surprising how often we get duplicate threads on the same (or very similar) topics.

Even more interesting, is the number of posts on a thread that seem to prove that the poster seems to not have read all of the preceding posts, either those responding to the original post, or subsequent responses by other posters. It makes me smile wryly when I read the same advice (or comment) at various places through the same thread - by different posters.

Anyway, guess I had better go quietly now - don't want to be in that dreaded 2%. cry

Cheers - John

The checkout chick asked me 'how are you?' today, and I responded with 'hello', and she said 'oh, that's good'.

Wonder if you're referring to the "Accident" double-up John ?   I've given up commenting on this type of thing, and Posts in the wrong places, after the last uproar I started.  You really have to wonder where their heads are though, don't you.

Cheers,

Sheba.

A pet peeve of mine is when a town is named but no indication of which state it is in especially when it is a smaller place.

It is a bit like the joke section - so many repeat postings. Then I guess unless you always read them you may not know that your 'new' joke is buried there. Like the email jokes that turn up a year or so later - round and round they go:)
