I don't believe anytime would be good enough, the place is run by a madman with groupies who are just as mad, it is a pity because the coast is very nice.  Apparently if you are from wa and a regular you are given much better reception.

I am sorry to hear that the Ningaloo Station camping is not much good, I have been dreaming about the place since it was featured on Pat Callinan's show, I have a nephew that Captains a charter boat at Ningaloo Charters and would love to do the trip and stay at the station.

We had so much grief in the short time we were there. Paid for a week, left after 3 days, guys running around with binocs, 2way radios spying on campers, turning gas bottles off when away from your campsite, one particular resident using a high performance camera to take photos of my wife when she was in the caravan annex, in the end we had to ring police to attend so that we could leave without harm.  They threatened physical violence  every time we moved.  Police advised us that they have no end of complaints and call outs about the place, that the "coastguard"as the proprietor calls himself, is an ex fishing inspector who has issues.

NINGALOO STATION CAMPING

Looks like things are going to change in the Ningaloo area very soon and camping and joint access & management may well be handed over to the traditional owners, see;

 I'm going up that way in a month or so, can you elaborate on weird?  I'm sure I could pull it off, but just don't want to be the wrong weird.

Yes saw the doco the other night...  hmmmm As I understand they were on a 75year? or so lease., sooooo whats the problem? When your lease is up its normal to vacate.?

Maybe they should've thought about it years ago, then maybe something could've been done earlier..
