Hi,
Some of these parks already had fees in place and they will simply go up a bit I should think, not sure how much they will rise to though.
Although an avid and dedicated independent camper myself I would have no problem with a reasonable fee, although as a dog owner I do not usually visit NP's unless I have a doggy day carer sorted out.

Just by pass these States, its one way of trying to get everyone back into Caravan Parks, Caravan Parks made their own problem by high cost sites, they want to see all free camping stopped too, it want be long before they move towards that,.
I wonder when the smaller country towns work out its better not to have caravan parks but turn then into freedom camps? More g/n's would stay and spend time and those wanting a caravan park would stay off the roads leading to them. Funny how overseas National Parks are open to all.

No, I'm not busy, I did it right the first time.
Self-powered wheelie walker, soon a power chair (ex. Nomad)
I see Hattah Lakes is one of the ones where fees will be increased - sign there just recently said $19.80/night - there is no water, the lake is full of trees!!! I remember when the kids were little we used to camp there for weeks, for free, swimming, fishing, pit toilet - a fantastic place - not any more - and at those prices, not for this little black duck!!!!
