this guy loves my dads garage!!

any ideas for a name?? cant tell if male or female.

I reckon must be female as it took no notice of mebiggrin

I think that's a skink Milo. They usually have a longer tail than that, but can drop it if something catches them by the tail. This one looks like he's (or she's) growing a new tail as its a bit short.

Yep definitely a Blue Tongue, (From my time as a Park Ranger)...confuse, and I  would call him Blue, cause you can tell from the gleam in his eye that it is a boy.  biggrinbiggrin

Go with Blue Tongue (which is a Skink) we have a family of three (Him, Her and this seasons bub) in our yard. They love snails, slugs and Strawberries!

 Yes, but Wombat has a predator called Marj that loves bobtails, so not letting him near mine, he'll take them home for Marj's supper! furious

Mine are Western Shinglebacks (aka bobtails) and can be seen in this link as can the eastern shingleback;

Although they have a blue tongue too, bobtails are not generally known as "blueys" but the skinks with the long skinny tails over east are.

The male is called "Milo".......smile.
