We made a decision to do a three day stopover in Moree after travelIng for about 5 days in high 30's temps. We were last year coming out of Qld and were impressed with the pride that This town has, it shows. So as we were in the area we thought we would do a visit once again. Good to see a town that's going somewhere compared with some many of the smaller towns that are struggling.

Must go there soon. We have heard much about the hot springs. We have not done a great deal of our state and Moree is one place we would like to go to.
We have enjoyed a couple of overnighters in Moree and enjoyed the Gwydir Van Park - where for the fee you also get (or did on our visits) free run of the lovely pools of Hot bore bath water. They have set up a most convenient, easy to use, easy to access series of (from memory) 4 pools under shade cloth, tiled, seats & lounges and so on. They did run a very reasonably priced evening dining deal to book at the office, delivered to the van as well. We have it on our lists each time we go that way! PS we have NO business interests in the park.

Yea, all of the above is right on cue. We had a great soak last night after a very hot run to Moree. Have to say it is very relaxing so if you are in the area and feeling for a hot soak then go for it I say.
