Well the court did say that the evidence tendered by the police prosecutor wasn't sufficient to prove this man is a bikie,

Magistrate Bernadette Callaghan, who some Coast police believe takes a soft approach to alleged criminals, told the court she had to be convinced Campbell was a club member.

Police evidence showed he had been located at the Coast chapter club on a number of occasions, found in possession of keys to the clubhouse and been in the company of members wearing their "colours''.

Mr Campbell's lawyer successfully argued that her client had not been found wearing any colours, but admitted to having drinks with Rebels.

Ms Callaghan said the evidence "fell short'' of establishing Campbell was a member of the Rebels.
