Buying a campervan

The time is getting closer that I will be looking at buying a campervan.

There will only be me and my little dog.

I have been looking at some sites like Gumtree and the Trading Post?

Any ideas on some good reliable sites to look at for campervans being sold probably second hand?

Thank you

Jen

For that money you could get a converted Commuter van, Coaster or a Mazda 3500 in pretty good order. SE Qld is probably the best area to look for one as well.

EDIT   just had a quick look for motorhomes 20 to 30K and this was the first one:

Hi Jen.  I bought mine through the CMCA some years ago now, and have had no trouble at all.[Touch wood.]

Mine's a '98 model, and the mileage was about the same as the one in the link Vic. put up.  I got mine at Caloundra.

Cheers,

Sheba.

There was a Campervan on the CMCA link (Week 3 - first ad) for $23,000.   1997 High Ace Auto Diesel with 198,000 on the odo.  See Week 3.

I havent done any travelling yet but the time has come that for my health I want to get going.
My parents have been travelling for years and they love it. I will be solo with my dog but I see there are other solo women out there :)
I need to get something reliable its a big step to buy something hoping you will like the travelling but I am feeling positive.
I have had 2 friends struck down with cancer in the last month I am getting itchy feet you dont know whats around the corner hey?
