I was reading something yesterday that said you could be classed as solo even if travelling with a partner. The reasoning was that even though in that case there are two of you and no one else your are travelling solo. If you travel by yourself you are solo as we know. Different interpretations of being solo I spose. I never thought of it that way.

Not sure I get your drift Doug.

Do you mean just in general life - eg, I want to be considered a solo because my travelling partner is not my spouse? 

Or - I am currently travelling with a companion but they are just that - a companion and not full-time with me?

Or - for assessment of Centrelink benefits?

I follow what you mean on this one Dougwe,  If the wife and I go away together in the van, with other people also going to the same places as us  with their vans then we are travelling in "TAG''Along, -- However if the Wife and I decide to go back to those same places but Not with anyone else, then we travel ''SOLO'' ???

 

I think you asked this ???? to early in the morning, and I think I have answered it to early in the morning ???wink  biggrin

Yes Dougwe I get your meaning. I read somewhere (may have even been here - oh! golly memory fading) that the new name for grey nomads maybe changed to Viagra - "Veterans in Automobiles Going Round Australia" - has anyone else heard this?
