I know do something that I haven't done for at least 15 years because when at my home base I live in a village and have no grass, at my choice and before that I worked 12-16 hour days and paid someone to mow the lawns SO,
Decided to spend some time out in the garden and sun before it gets too hot in the sun for me. Out came the lawn mower, mmmm, how do I start it, what end do I stand and how do I hold on to it etc, well it has been along time. Ah! I remember, pull that cord, wow it goes so started to push it slowly and as I looked behind me the grass was shorter so I must be doing it right.
With the front and back finished I then decided to trim a few dead bits off the pot plants and removed any weeds in them, a full 20lt bucket later I had achieved my goal. My back is playing up a bit so the vege garden will just have to wait till the owners return, at least the weeds there are green and blend in. My excuse will be, I don't know the difference between a weed or a newly born vege seedling.
I will do the lawns again next weekend prior to the owners possible return, I think, early the week after, that way they don't have to worry about the lawns on their return. Maybe I had better get the carpet cleaners in as well to get rid of any wild party evidence.
Take care anyone near the NSW fires please.

Also Doug, don't forget to get rid of all those empty wine bottles and to check the glasses for lipstick smears, other than that you should be home and hosed.
