Hi all,

Macerating toilet in a caravan?. A lot of opinions available but I would like to hear from someone who is using or has used one.

Thanks,

Cousin had 3 on large boat.

I fixed them numerous times,,, I taught him how to fix them and due to their unreliability/jamming/freezing (not due to cold) he now has 0 on board.

Hi there, I am gathering by you calling the macerating toilet, you would be meaning also the vacuum toilet, which in turn macerates.

We have one installed and we did have problems, but hubbie being a mechanical type, has now got the bugs out of it. For how long we dont know.

It is a Dometic, but i do hear they are not making them anymore wonder why?????????

I wouldnt recommend one.
