Yeah!!! Picked up our van today!

Today we drove 3 hours to Blayney from Tumut to look at and, hopefully, pick up our 'new' caravan.

It was all as described and, as we had a bank cheque already with us, bought it home.

Here it is...........

DSCF2658.JPG

BIG photo. Sorry.

This was taken this afternoon when we just got home. Proper chocks and stuff to come. Unfortunately it is about 2" too high to get into the garage furious

We were limited to weight with our vehicle but as it's only a 13' van it tows like a charm on our Mitsubishi Outlander.

Now to pack it up and take our 1st 'small' trip away (have to leave the dog and the chooks to the care of the neighbour)

We previously had a Jayco Campervan when the kids were smaller. Now the kids are much bigger and still on the Central Coast.

We've escaped to lovely Tumut and now hope to escape to some more lovely places wink

Cheers

Very nice indeed.

You can drop on a pair of tyre-less rims to keep it in the garage.

Cheers.

Very nice, if it's 2" to high you might be able to drop the tyre pressure to get it in just a thought!! Anyway I'd load up and get on the road and then, you won't need a garage wink

Enjoybiggrin

Thank you all
Actually getting inside the van today and looking closely it is quite small
But as we are only doing short jaunts at this stage it should be fine
Beats a tent anyway smile

We are thinking a night at Jingellic for our first 'foray' probably in about 2-3 weeks or so
Only about 2 hours away from Tumut
I know it is a popular spot so thought we might go mid week

Any other suggestions?

Anyone going to be around the Snowy area in the next month or so?
