I must say there are some great people on this forum. I enjoy it, something things very funny, some not so. I admit I've had a good laugh at some things including the lady with the cigarette below.

I hope you stick around Bazzle22 and Solo Nomad. Most people are really helpful and friendly.

Perhaps you could give some examples Barry so we all know what you are talking about??? Are the responses in General or in I Digress where anything goes and it was provided by the Webmaster for off topic and nonsense replies ???? confuse

If a couple of funny comments in just one of his 24 posts upsets him that much then maybe it is for the best that we let him go. I don't know about you lot but I like this forum not only because it is helpful but also, though many of us haven't met each other yet we consider ourselves friends so we let a bit of humor colour our answers and comments...much like friends chatting in life.

I was going to keep out of this but,

In defence of Bazzle22 he never actually named anyone however I will take this time to say that I love this forum the way it is, I joined because there is a bit of everything, great stories, great technical and other information, great photo's shared, serious post's, general chit chat and some crappy post's including from me I reckon. I can also be all of the before mentioned things as well, believe it or not.

Not only as mentioned already by someone else do we all, well, most anyway feel like friends, when we do finally meet up with fellow GN members it is like old friends just having a chat over coffee or sometimes something a little stronger. I have met 81 members from this great forum, now I don't know about them but I feel everyone of them are now life long friends.

There was a main reason why I joined this forum and will not bore you with the reason but those that know me know that reason, actually, reasons.

The thing is, a forum, any forum, can be like a TV remote control, if you don't like a program or you start watching a program and don't like it push a button and change the channel. In this case Bazz, if you don't like a members comment, next time you tune in and see their AV or name on the left hand side of a post just don't tune in, move to the next one, same if you start reading something and crap appears in the thread, mate, ignore it, move on to the next comment.

I will tell you something, LIFE IS WAY TOO SHORT to let something like what you are saying upset you AND I tell you that for free.

I could quite easily go on and have already said more than planned so I will shut up.

Whatever you do Bazzle22 enjoy life and most of all,

Good comments on this post - but I think the main gist is - if you don't like a post - ignore it and move on!!!! If you don't like someone's posts - ignore them!
As Dougwe says - this is a friendly forum - when you meet up with others from here, it is like meeting old friends - lots of fun - if there is someone on here who you think you wouldn't like - you don't have to have anything to do with them - and yes, LIFE IS TOO SHORT to be upset over small things!!!!

Enjoy life - take it as it comes - you never know what is around the corner!!!!

That was some time ago, unfortunately this forum has been hijacked by people who do not understand that the "I digress" forum is for nonsense.

I still like coming to the forum because amongst the swill an occasional gem can be found.

Isn't it all the people and their postings that make this forum what it is today.Sure some postings may upset some individuals ,but some people may find them humorous,we are all different.If we find something not so funny just move on to the next posting or topic.As other people have said .....LIFE IS TO SHORT.

Hi again Ken, I wish the poster would point out which thread/threads in particular he is referring to and whether on General or I digress or whatever, it would help us understand what particular comments he is talking about. I read another of his recent threads and can't see anything there. He may have good reason for this thread, but it would help to point us to where it has upset him.

None of us are perfect though and sometimes many of us get a bit carried away and digress on a thread that was meant to be serious (ie; General etc) and I am no different, but overall I think it is still a great RV forum and most of us try to restrain ourselves to the subject matter.

the people who have a bit of fun and poke a bit of stick, i dont have a problem with

BUT there is a select few armchair experts who jump on anyone who has an opinion which differs from their wealth of knowledge.

everyone has a right to express their opinion whether it differs from yours or not!

i posted my opinion a week or two ago about campsite security only to be followed up by .........................

I have been camping for 130years in 470 different countries and never had any problems what would you know attitude response.

i have an opinion, you have an opinion, it doesnt give you the right to chest beat and try to make yourself feel better by belittling other posters.

a liitle respect is all it takes thanks
