Workmans beach is a nat park run camp area , 1klm out of Agnes waters, QLD. Within walking distance of shops. It has toilets, and cold showers, and is a bit sandy, though 2wds will get in.$6 a night. very popular with backpackers, and van people.I'm here for the fishing in Round head creek, at 1770, just up the road. Will post if I get anything memourable. Bill

Now there's a bloke who runs a fishing business for a living, and goes fishing on his holidays. Mind you, he has been known to go crabbing when he's not fishing.

Thanks Bill. We will check it out. We have a 4x4 with a slide on camper so can be self sufficient.

Gee Bill wish I had known you were in my area,as you would of been welcome to stay in the Claytons I own down there.

Wreck Rock is another beaut place to camp/ fish,we often head out there,

Directions from Aggy continue along Spring Rd for 4 ks the follow the unsealed sand track to parks northern boundry Wreck Rock camping area is 17ks south of Aggy.

Has basic facilities here.

Another camp is back at Boyne Island at Lilleys Beach via Hadly Drive only permitted to camp in fenced area northern end and a $5 per week is required can get this from Boyne/Tannum community centre...GOOD FISHING AROUND THIS AREA AS NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE GO HERE.

Good crabbing they recon at moment out at Boynedale camp.

Regards Herbie.
