Booking sites in FNQ for next Winter

Sorry but new to all this....how does it go for booking sites in say Port Douglas for winter stays? Looked online at Big4 and no sites seem available. Do they go that far in advance or is there something i am missing? Is there a date where you have to wait till for bookings?

Choose the park you like and phone them and ask the question, you will then have the answer straight from the horses mouth.

FNQ is very busy from May to August.

I suspect many people book year after year and stay for a few months each time.

We were up there last year and arrived in mid August, a lot were starting to leave and the ones we spoke to have been doing the same time ,same park for years. Just keep trying and as JRH said ring up and you will get a direct answer even leave your contact details in case there is a cancellation.

Hello redjcw

My I suggest that you go up the road a few kilometres and stay at the Mossman Caravan Park.

Nice spot, friendly management and all you need is close by.   Cheaper that Port Douglas on most things.

Watch out for the snapping hand bags

Happy Caravanning
