Four Seasons Hatch

Does anyone travel with the rear vent of the four seasons hatch open to remove hot air from the van? I see vans traveling with the shower cubicle vent open to remove moisture, odors. If this works would the rear vent of the four seasons hatch have the same effect?

Cheers Pete

I sometimes forget to close all the vents, but luckily remember to close them all before getting above high speed >70km/hr.
I usually notice a breeze blowing and wonder where it is coming or going from. I was advised to drive with them closed at all times to save damage. FYI.

caravan repairer told us to keep it closed when travelling - he's had to repair many that were inadvertently left open. Occasionally our shower hatch works loose and opens slightly - need to check it each time we stop.
