When I was 14 and started work in the city, there was a fountain across the road in Hyde Park, opposite St Mary's Cathedral, with a bunch of nude statues in it. Also, on the facades of many older buildings there were statues of women with exposed breasts. I'd never seen ANYTHING like that back in the burbs. Naturally, I wondered why it was okay to have nudies in the city but not in the burbs. And I'm still wondering.
