Got an interesting craft to share? Looking for a new pattern for your next project? Share your crafty thoughts, questions, advice and pics here. If possible, try to label each new thread as descriptively as possible so people can search and find your valuable advice and info as the section grows (for example, 'Pattern for knitting a baby blanket' is better than just 'Pattern' or 'Blanket'). Enjoy!

Well done Cindy.Yes some blokes are into the crafty things as well.Look forward to reading your articles ladies. And yes I'm not strange. After a heart attack in 1985 I semi retired and wth time on my hands a friend who was into quilting and tapestry started me with a small tapestry. i have enjoyed crafting ever since. I may have input at some time and hope you will share an answer . Alan.
PS .I'm the crafty one in my family , not my wife. ha ha ha .
Both the good looking brains of this operation & I do crafts that we use to raise a little extra cash that we use for play money or a cruise holiday while we are travelling on the road. We both make jewelery and Jules also knits, sews and makes items from recycled goods, she is very clever and talented. Where as I along with the jewelery making also do chain maille jewelery, I carve wood and bone, I make useful items out of recycled goods we find in op shops or at markets.
We sell on the road out of the caravan and occassionally will do a market stall. We do it as a hobby, but it is nice to make a little extra cash as well. Jules says that at least it keeps me quiet for a while...lol.
My wife is very crafty with a large range of talents and I have taken up pyrography in my spare time and will take it on the road with us, my only problem is being able to draw onto the wood, as at present I am tracing, but real life drawing would be better, may be some classes will help.
