Called into the Coles Express servo, western end of Port Augusta yesterday to refuel...128 litres of LPG. Proceed to the cashier who asks me "do you have a docket?" No , I replied. Hang on, says she, I have a spare one in my purse, which she retrieves and uses it to discount my purchase. A random act of kindness whichrestored my faith in human kind. Guess which servo I shall refuel at on my return journey to show my appreciation

What an awesome act of kindness. You don't see that happen very often.
The most I've done recently is give a couple a dollar coin to put in their trolley at Aldi as their disc wouldn't work.
They wanted to search their pockets for a dollar to repay. I saw don't worry. Pay it forward sometime.
I was in Woolies Taree 10 years ago and was $2 short of the total so the checkout chick took a $2 coin from her pocket and made up the diff. "We're not supposed to carry money on us," she said with a smile. A week later I repaid the debt but I've never forgotten that act of kindness, nor will I.
You know sometimes the ''Giver'' gets more out of it than the ''Getter'' ??
Every morning I pull into a Bean Sqeeze coffee drive through for a coffee on the way to work, One morning whilst waiting in line, I could see the Lady behind me, through my mirror, She looked very sad and upset, whilst talking on her phone, then she put the phone down and wiped away some tears, ??
When I got to the window, I said to the Girl, '' Whatever the Lady behind me ordered;; take it out of this, And when she gets to the window, Just say A stranger has covered it and said to enjoy your coffee and to wish you A very Happy Day ??
Then I got away quickly so that she could not guess ''who'' that stranger was ?? And you know what ?? I felt really good all day. and I do Hope that Ladies day also got a lot better.!! So it really is Better to Give, Than Receive >.

I once forked over $5.00 to help out a elderly lady who was dicking around through her change purse trying to come up with the dollars. Everyone thought that was nice of me and I suppose it was but I was looking out for myself as I was losing my cool with all the delays so rather than stomp out I paid up to get her moving . I hate crowds and procrastination.
