Howdy VKPORTABLE,was reading your post regarding your research on Abbots near Meekatharra , Do not know if this bit of info will help you,but I guess any help is better than none.
Abbots is near MtVranizon and New Murchison /Kings workings,The reason I know a little regarding this area is I was in the area for a few months back in 2011 doing some enviro work for Silver Swan while they were out there doing some drilling for gold/copper /zink mineralisation.
This area was underexplored green stone belt
The area we were in was East of Meeka in a 50km radius.
Other ghost towns in the area Nannine/Garden Gully/Abbots/Gabanintha/Peak Hill and Horseshoe.
Abbots is classified in the mining world as (where historic drilling had taken place.

Another thought is to get on to the shire in Meeka as they have a book out lining the ghost towns and directions around there and also through out the area.
Actually I think I am getting worse. The Endone is working well though :) Give it till Wednesday if I get any worse by then I think I will take another trip in.
Just as an aside: If anyone does get laid up requiring hospital treatment in Geelong then I can 100% recommend the Geelong Hospital (Ryrie Street). They are really good there I cannot complain I've spent a fair amount of time in the hospital over the last 12 months and they look after you well.
Maybe this could be a good new section for the forums 'Hospitals and Medical Care' as I am sure a lot would have experienced good and bad Hossies and Docs.
