 It's going to be nasty for Victoria too. They had an area map of Vic showing which areas will be most affected in a local rag and one bright spark commenter asked if the CFA were spreading doom and gloom just to get more donations! I don't know where these people come from. Bogan-ville I suspect!!

Summer always worries me because I live in a designated fire storm area. I always thought I could handle a bushfire until Black Saturday came along. It was so hot that day that there seemed to be a grey fog hovering above the tree tops. I'm guessing it was the vapour from the gum trees. I suppose all I can do is hope that if the unthinkable does happen, I'm not at home!
