G'day all

We just came back from Miva ( Qld ) Dickabram Bridge

sorry to say that the water has run out at this stage so Toilets are not working also the little water tank has less than a foot of water left in there 

so if you want to go there make sure you've got plenty of water with you  and a porteloo

One place I was thinking of spending a few days John.
Just waiting for Charlie to tell me what days he wants to work on the van.
Thanks for the warning about the water. Seems to be the same everywhere at the moment.
John, do you know of any free camps in the Hervey Bay area. There's none in the camps book.

hi hw I have just got back from having a look at log dump camping area at tinnanbar.

tuan state forest it is right on kauri creek beautiful spot only 1 family camping it has toilets only 

about 10k of good dirt road to get there 2wd ok might be a bit isolated as nearest shop is at poona

it is national park so approx. $11.00pn

Thanks Glenn. I need somewhere to stay overnight , probably, when I go to visit son in Hervey Bay.
Think it would be easier to drive back to Howard or Torbanlea.
Just hoping there might be enough room in their driveway. He said there's not a lot of room out front.

We stayed at the Maryborough showgrounds recently. $16 - power, spotless amenities, no shade, honesty box, dogs allowed, lots of space. Recommend! Cheers Chris and Peter
