WA Rockingham meeting today

Just incase there is anyone in the area who may have missed this.......

Where:  Rockingham Foreshore Reserve on Rockingham Beach Road, at Alexandra Street intersection.  The logic behind this is that there is a large covered area, with three picnic tables underneath. I hope this change is not too much of a nuisance for those who are booked into Cee & See - it is only a few block away

There is still plenty of parking both on the street (suitable for caravans) and off street.  We were there on Friday from approximately 11.30 till about 1.30, and only one other small group used the park.  Clean BBQs are available if you wish to use them, and toilets are located nearby.

The park is dog friendly (on lead), however the beach is off limits, if you need to bring along your four legged companion.

Wet Weather Option:  I have checked out the Rockingham Pub, they have $10.00 specials from midday, and a large area where we can sit at two large tables.  We will use this option if the weather is really bad, but will make the call on Thursday morning.

When:  Thursday 29th August, from 11.30 am (we will be arriving around 11.00 to reserve the tables & make the decision)

Bring:  Your lunch and drinks, your own chairs, and a sense of fun

Our apologies for not being able to attend but a family concern means that we have to return home far sooner than expected. Hope all goes well

a lovely time had by all - hopefully photos will be posted. Ended up at the pub for cheap lunch as some rain and a very cold wind not conducive to picnics.
