Yes, but just remember we have got there.
Many poor buggers don't get there or they are too ill to enjoy their retirement.
I used to dread waking up every day when I worked and would have been happy to stay asleep but know I cant get up early enough and enjoy every hour that I have and hope I have more to come but I plan to go out going whoopee what a ride.
Regards
Brian

Sadly I can relate to that sign. On the upside, I don't care too much what the body is doing, as long as it continues to take my mind to all the places I want to go and still allows me to enjoy (with the help of some of those medical aids of course)
Sing it: "I'm older than my father ever was, and guilty of out-livin' my ex"

The more I learn about people, the more I like my dogs (Mark Twain)
My dear old Dad did the usual stuff with hard work & made sure we got away camping out some where for at least a week each year or sometimes two, retired early with LSL etc saved up quite a few months before 65 and then around 65 the strokes, heart problems and so on started and he was very restricted between 65 and death at 70.
So we decided to learn a lesson and take each lot of LSL as it became due and enjoyed lots of family time before the kids left home made up of two full 3 month stints with State Govt, now have had three trips (6weeks, 8weeks and 6weeks) away with Aust. Govt. LSL and hopefully after age 65 retirement in 23 work days time we will have more time to go out and about.
My advice is. What ever IT is, "Take IT when IT is due"! The body packs up very quickly once it starts and I am feeling it now!

Also the older I get the more I realise I do not know.
