We are coming over from NZ to do the big lap next year. We would like to have foxtel in the van. Is this possible without having a billing address in Australia? Getting excited now!

i hope you are excited about coming to Oz and not about getting FOXTEL.
technically you can now get it anywhere you have MBB as the FOXTEL Go app allows access without a contract on an iPad phone etc.
But for the satellite service you need a permanent address to hook up, ie like a CP lot number. Then you could move and take it with you. But that may be against the T&Cs so you would have to live with that. There is more to life than TV, isnt there?

I could not bear to miss the All Blacks playing! I agree with your comments but would probably still like to have Foxtel. When we lived in UK we simply took the satellite box with us in the van. I rigged up a free standing sat dish and it all worked well. The problem is we don't have a billing address, unless we talk to our daughter who lives in Sydney?
Use your daughters address and take the topbox with you. No need to let Foxtel know about it. Any old Austar/Foxtel/VAST dish assy with a 10.7 LNB will do if not buying new (or the one off your Daughters roof!).
