About a year ago I upgraded to an Asus laptop, and although it's top quality, it's also very hungry! Charging draws 360watts. So I've added an android 10.1" tablet to the repertoire, but I can't work out how to copy and paste a link, it always just comes out as normal text. Anyone out other who can tell me how to do this?

Are you using the copy link or copy then pasting I found if I use the copy link then use the paste function to drop it in to my email of forum post. Works for me

Where abouts are you pasting the link? If you're talking about posting the link here then the problem may not be with your tablet but with the forum software. To post a link here you have to use the advanced editor. Then paste your link in as text, select the text and then the linking icon on the menu bar and re-paste the link into the appropriate field in the pop-up that appears.

I'm afraid I don't even know how to get to "copy link". With no mouse to right click, and no "alt" button I'm a bit lost

That doesn't sound right. Look at the rating on your adapter/charger.
that's what i thought too, but the adapter clearly states Input 240v ~ 1.5A Output 19v ~ 4.74A. Plus it blew the fuses in the car when I plugged it into my 160w inverter without checking first

If you are using the "Quick Reply" box, try enclosing your link within "url" codes ...
[ url ]your_link[ /url ]
(remove the spaces inside the square brackets)
thanks Dorian, I gave that a try but it still didn't work. I tried pasting a link into a doc, and that worked fine, so there must be something about this website and my access to it from Android.
