Arrived at Jerico on Jordan yesterday,  hoped to get the kayaks wet!   Was not to be!  Very little water in the creek, so boats still on the racks!  Beautiful place to rest up for a few days .. Looking forward to being able to go walking and not have a highway as the only option. Hoping as we travel further south we will find the elusive water at end end of the rainbow.  About 20 vans here last night and have chatted to some fellow travelers ... Many just overnights.  If you are in the neighborhood, come join us, 6 weeks on the road and yet to meet any GNs, in fact all the travelers we have met were mostly retirees and not aware of the GN website and forums .... The are now!
